Today, we had the pleasure to host Prof. Ezio Cadoni, Dymat President, for a short visit to the DFL.
And more great news: A newborn son to Dr. Jing Xie. Best wishes of mazal tov to her and her family. May he grow in health and happiness.
Today, Juan Carlos Nieto Fuentes passed his candidacy exam with flying colors. The traditional Jamon de bellota, lomo and the chorizo were present to add a special and memorable touch to the happy event. Congrats JC!!!
Last thursday, Yonathan Rotbaum gave his doctoral seminar about the mechanical properties of inverse freezing gels. To illustrate his excellent oral presentation, Maayan (Yonathan’s wife) made sure to prepare deserts related to the topic and they were delicious.
Let’s welcome Gleb Gil Goviazin, who joins as a master’s student under the joint supervision of Dr. A. Shirizly and myself. Gleb will investigate the mechanical properties of weld-3D printed materials.
